Barrio Boy

In a changing Brooklyn neighbourhood, Quique runs a barbershop and keeps his sexuality under wraps. When he meets a handsome Irish stranger on the basketball court, their instant attraction leads to a secret romance. But his childhood friend Cuz, now the local tough guy, grows suspicious and jealous of their relationship. What starts as a summer romance forces Quique to confront hard truths about sexuality, loyalty, and identity in a neighbourhood that's becoming unrecognisable.

Based on director Dennis Shinners' short film, BARRIO BOY stars Dennis Garcia (Chicago Justice, Chicago Med) as Quique, alongside Keet Davis (Daredevil, The Tick) and Welsh actor James Physick.
